About Us

The Goldman Sachs Foundation working with the Center for Talented Youth (CTY) at Johns Hopkins University has launched an exciting project to increase the number of traditionally underrepresented high potential youth who are well-prepared for the rigorous education and training required of today's global leaders. The Foundation seeks to enlarge the pool of young people who are qualified to attend selective colleges and universities, who pursue demanding professions, and who become effective leaders.

CTY seeks to identify 7th and 8th graders who qualify for, but cannot afford to attend, its academically challenging summer programs. CTY conducts the nation's oldest and most extensive academic talent search and offers educational programming for students with exceptionally high academic ability.
